[Issue] Exporting as PDF/X-3

I have a large OOo Writer file (160 pages, with text and 400 photos), generated using a Windows Vista OS. I wish to export the file as a PDF to forward it to Blurb.com for printing as a book. Blurb says the PDF file must be in "press-friendly PDF/X-3:2002 format set with Acrobat 4 (PDF1.3) compatibility. This is a flattened PDF".
Does the resulting PDF file exported in OOo 3.0 satisfy this requirement?
Thanks!

I know that this has been an issue with previous versions. The exported pdf was without fonts and internal tagging information, and color info (for color separation) was insufficient for professional print. I do not know if this has been corrected in recent versions.
You can try to tick the PDF-A box in the PDF-export options of OOo. This will make an "archival grade" PDF, with font files and object tags embedded, so the file size will probably increase noticeably. I'm not sure if that will constitute a "ready-to-print" pdf, though.
I believe your best bet is to use Adobe tools. See if there's a free download that allows you to convert existing documents on the fly. (You may have to use MS Word "doc" format as an intermediate step.)
Possibly, you can get a better result with a "print-to-pdf" solution. In Mac OS-X (and at least in some linux distros) the print-to-pdf is an option in the print manager. In Windows you have to install a "virtual printer" for that.

Based on the existence of this open issue:
Issue 77791:
New export format PDF/X-3 (ISO 15930-3) to create documents for print-centers, I would say: probably not.
You can register there and add your vote (up to two) or comment.
On the other hand, it may not matter--Blurb may well be able to handle OOo's PDF even if it does not adhere rigorously to the standard.
