Embeding flash files in Impress presentation

Hi,
I'm new to openoffice having used MS Office for a number of years. I am trying to create a presentation for a lesson which requires me to embed a flash file in it (for my ease of use and for the presentation to be 'portable' for students use). This is something which was easy to do and worked well in MS Powerpoint but I cannot find any way of doing this in Open Office Impress.

Does anybody know if this can be done in Impress and if so how is it achieved?

You should be able to do this through the Insert > Object > Plug-in menu.

It seems there are some issues with embedding flash in Impress presentations though:
