Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? OO2.3.1
What Operating System (version) are you using? MS Vista Home Basic
What is your question or comment? I have downed the iso images using bitTorrent http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdro ... wnoad.html
Afteward, I burned the file.iso (with the iso as extension) onto a CD. Now how do I use it to install OpenOffice? When I inserted that CD into the drive and double-click it, WINDOWS said it does not know which program to use to open the .iso file. Huh? I thought I can download/burn OO into a CD so that I can use it to install on the Mac machine without download it again. Thanks

You must not burn a data CD, you must burn your CD from the downloaded image. So afterwards it will not show "filename.iso" on the CD, but all of the available OOo setup files.

Googleing for "how to burn iso" produced this for example:
