[Solved] Re-editing Math formulas

Post by jwm57 »

How do I open a saved OO.o document with Math formulae in it and then go to a formula to open the equation editor and modify or move it in the document? I assume the document (.odt) is saved with the formula in markup language with some header to tell Writer to interpret it as a formula.

Has the formula been made with OOo? If so, just double-click it. It can be moved by cut and paste in Writer.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

Re: Can't edit Math formulas

I have several formulas that I entered into open office that I was able to edit by double clicking them. Suddenly I am no longer able to edit them by double clicking them. If I create a new formula I can edit it this way but all old formulas seem to have no option to edit. If I copy and paste them into OOmath they do showup as formulas.

Same thing happens to me, very unusual.
