General error - input output error

Hi all,

I try to open an online document in BSCW (collaborative platform). After having stated username/password to log in I get a general input/output error, no further info provided. When opening local files no error at all.

I presume the cause is the username and password. Previous version of Open Office I was asked to enter this info in Open Office as well before it opened the online file. Any idea how I can solve this issue ? Downloading the file is not an option since BSCW works with direct links to the file.

Have you contacted BSCW? They may have encountered this before, also, if it does involve BSCW we all can benefit if there are changes they need to make to ensure compatibility with OO.o.
