New Default template reverts to old???

Hi,

I created a simple new default Writer template and followed the Help procedure for saving it and designating it as the default. That works fine until I exit OO. When I reopen it, Writer goes back to the supplied default. I've done this a couple of times and had the same result. I'm using Win 2000.

What's up w/this?

Have you saved it in the My Templates folder using the File>Templates>Save (or Organize) dialog? If so, try to rename your OOo user profile (\Documents and settings\<user>\Application data\OpenOffice.org2) and try again.

If Hagar's suggestion doesn't help, please review the Survival Guide (see the link in my sig line) and please provide your OOo version and OS version.
