hi all
I am just newbie and hope to contribute, when i get enough knowledge so it would be worthwhile.
I have a question referring to wacom products, I just bought the wacom bamboo tablet and i t came with some software.
(wacom justwrite office 4.4). It loaded on microsoft word 97 but i think its to old to support this program.
In any case, does open office support this software, I called wacom and the rep said " justwrite office is not microsoft specific but the company you asked about (open office) will have support the software it is not in our hands it is in theirs".
So do you support it? Is it an addon if you do? If not , will you consider it at a future date .

thanks

I googled for that software and found out that its code is written to integrate into the MSOffice suite and nothing else. The code "communicates" with MSOffice and manipulates MSOffice. Don't give a shit on what a call center operator tells you about software. They are trained to blame anybody else.

I had a lot of trouble with Bill's link, and found this one to work for me:

To summarise, it would be non-trivial to make JustWrite work with OpenOffice, and there are no plans to do so because of OpenOffice's market share.

I read the JustWrite blurb, but for the life of me I can't imagine why those things would be useful.

I'm sure I don't see it because I've never used one; could you give me an example of how you would use it?
