[Solved] Downloading hangs at 63% during set-up

I have tried downloading Open Office since yesterday. Did it 3 times but each time I manage to download until 63% when the downloading hangup. There was no error messages but there was no progress beyong 63%. Anyone has encountered this problem. Please advise how I can resolve it. I am using Windows Vista.

My guess is that you are using the browser to download. I suggest you use a download manager. You can find a list of managers at or near
the OO download page. You may need to use a mirror instead of the dynamic link. If so, there is
a list of mirrors.

I managed to download uing a mirror based in Singapore. It took only about 30 minutes to complete the installation.
