[Solved] About Fontwork

Post by Ehecatl »

Hi, I'm a Openoffice new user and I like it very much. Most of the time I don't have any problems with the suite, but I find that Fontwork has a bug or something, because when I want to use it some of the styles works nicely and others don't, I would like to know why is that. Thaks for any answer.

Have you read the Forum Survival Guide?

What OOo version are you using? There was a nasty bug in Fontwork with the 2.3.0 version that was fixed in the 2.3.1 update (the latest).

Sorry, I forgot to write that. I have an AMD 4200+, Windows XP SP2, and OOo 2.3.0 in spanish.

Well, then I would definitely suggest you try 2.3.1 if you need Fontwork.

The bug only affects 3-d object drawing--that's why some of the Fontwork styles work properly and some don't.
