[Solved] Importing a dictionary from another OpenOffice.org

Post by heavyblues »

hello, I'm a relatively new user to OpenOffice.org, and I've been using a 'portable' version of it that came pre-installed with my external hard drive. I have that one's dictionary all set up with the words I wanted it to ignore, and such, and it's QUITE a few words... there's nothing in teh help file about how to import dictionaries from different sources... I was HOPING there'd be a way, because [no offense] but OpenOffice is a retard when it comes to newer English terms D:
and names

There are instructions here for installing dictionaries. You want the instructions for "Non-automated Installation".
