[Solved] Need help with headers and footers...

Hi,

I'm not new to OO but the problem I discovered is rather new to me.

I can't get the writer to put page numbers/headers/footers from page 3. Here's what I need to do.

I set the page header/footer to display the page number from the 3rd page in the document. I want it to display "3" from page 3, but it also adds the page number to page 1 and 2 (don't need these 2 buggers to display anything in the header or footer). From p3 onwards, I want the page numbers to be in normal chronology.

How do I achieve this feat?

Please, need help...desperately.

Since the headers and footers are part of the page style, you need a different page style for the first and second page. See Writers' Help under page numbers;inserting/defining/formatting.
