[Dropped] Red Circles with "X"

Post by Larry1700 »

Ye Olde Luddite here.

I'm seeing dozens of folders and files with a red circle next to the names with an "X" through it. What does this mean? I am also trying to copy and paste a file. When I click "paste" the name of the file appears on the screen for a split second then disappears. I'd really appreciate help with this ASAP. Thank you!!

Where exactly are you seeing these?
I am also trying to copy and paste a file
What are the precise steps you take to do this?
Slackware 15 (current) 64 bit
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16
LibreOffice 26.2..2; SlackBuild for 26.2.4 by Eric Hameleers

This doesn't sound like an OpenOffice problem. I think you have an operating system problem. You may have more success with a forum for Windows users or for OneDrive users. I'm sure a web search will help you find an answer. I don't use Windows and decline to help further with this problem.
