[Dropped] OpenOffice doesn't send document to printer

I'm new to OpenOffice. When I want to print a document, OpenOffice makes me save it even if I don't want to. OK...but when I open the file, it will not send to my printer. (I am able to print from my phone, so my printer is working) Any suggestions?

Is your printer turned on, ready, when you start OpenOffice? OpenOffice only detects available printers at its startup, so if your printer isn't available at that time, OpenOffice won't see it.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Can you print from another application? Is the printer recognized by AOO?
If you export the file to PDF, can you print that PDF?
