Access ODBC Import

Post by depawl »

Greetings All.
So I was able to import one of my MS Access databases into OO using the ODBC connection.
But when I open it in OO, only the tables appear.
No forms, queries, or reports.
Is this normal behavior?
Thanks.

Yes, you can only import the data tables.

Thank you for the reply.
Doesn't seem that was made apparent in any of the documentation that I saw.

A search of the External Data Sources forum quickly found this topic. The topic is ten years old but I doubt if anything has changed since then. Perhaps the links there will help.

https://ucanaccess.sourceforge.net/site.html is a JDBC driver. It can access the tables and shows the queries as views. Works like a charm on Linux and Windows.
