One document locks OpenOffice every time

Open Office locks up every time I open a document I created it. I am forced to do ctrl+alt+del and shut it down from there because nothing else will respond.
I really want that document back. What do I do?

Can you share the document? You can post it here or on a publicly available site. To upload it here, click Post Reply and look for the Attachments tab just below the box where you type a response. There is a size limit of 128KB.
