[Solved] Saving floating frame edits

Post by LeroyTennison »

I'm posting this as solved hoping it will help someone else after not being able to find an answer in the documentation or on the web only to discover the solution: Once the edits to the document in the floating frame are complete use File->Save All to save both those edits as well as changes to the document containing the frame.

After any major editing, indeed, before any pause in editing a work, using Ctrl S to cause a Save should be instinctive.

Agreed but Ctrl-S is Save, not Save All which is what is required to save not only the document containing the floating frame but also the floating frame document's contents.
