Hi,

yesterday I just wanted to create a report from the customer table to have an email distribution list.
The report was easy, but then I could not copy more than a single value from the report into my clipboard.
I tried a quick work-around and tried to copy the mail column from the customer table and the behaviour was the same.

I was able to export the report as PDF and then I was able to get the values from the PDF, but I am quite surprised by this.

Did I do something wrong or miss something?
How do you solve this kind of things?

You are more likely to get an answer when you provide a way to reproduce the situation with an attachment. No volunteer wants to attempt to replicate your database and create a report for it to run some tests. Remember this advice for future topics since I won't repeat it there. It doesn't have to be your real data, but it should be some which we can use to duplicate the problem. There is more than one way to create a report in Base. You should explain in detail how you create your report. We will need that information to reproduce the report you are using.

You don't specify which database Base is connected to. In general that is important information to provide whenever you have a Base quetion. That information is in the status bar when you use Base.

In case of an old style report (AOO without report builder extension), I get an ordinary Writer table which is selectable with the mouse or 2 times Ctrl+A.
In case of a new style report (LO or AOO with extension), I get separate tables for the different group headers and footers. 2 times Ctrl+A selects the entire section where the mouse cursor is in.
