[Dropped] 4.1.15 Suddenly will not work

OO will not load any documents or spreadsheets.
I have used Open Office for years at home. It worked fine this morning and I worked with it for hours yesterday. My opening page does not appear where you can select test document/spreadsheet/etc. It will not open any of my files either.
I made sure all older versions were gone. Reloaded 4.1.15 and completed the installation wizard and it still will not do anything.
