Hello All,

Since a while I do not have regular access to https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/, using my laptops, desktop, and cell phones.
The following shows info from one of the laptops.

Firefox shows: 403 Forbidden on the 'tab' and the page:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.

I am writing this, using a VPN to get access.

If my Address is locked out, I would like to have that fixed, but do not know how.

Any info/suggestions are appreciated.

If your address had been locked, there would be a warning telling that your IP had been banned.
Since it doesn't seem to be the case, either a problem with the forum servers or with your internet access. I've not seen such message recently so I would say it's something on your end.
Any issue with other sites?

I access forum several times per day, and have had no problem, apart from one or two lengthy or denied openings because of server overload from a repeat of the earlier in the year overload attack. That problem usually rectifies itself within a few minutes.

I can access any other website, domestic and foreign maintained.
This issue started a couple of months ago.
Did not pay attention to it back then.
Busy with other projects.

Suggestions make sense.

Will check out our end of the bargain.

This is probably (now: 16 July 2025) a manifestation of the overload attack that started a few months ago. It has largely been resolved, but in the past few days is manifesting itself as slow or sometimes denied opening of the site; this resolves within a few minutes - simply try again after a little wait.
