Edit XLS/ODS files on Samsung tablet

Hello,
Why can't I open XLS/ODS (and DOC) files in edit mode from my Samsung tablet, even from an external HDD?

Samsung tablets use the Android operating system, which is not supported by OpenOffice. What program are you using to open the documents?
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint

Thanks for the info. Is Open Office supported in ChromeOS?

WPS Office is compatible with a lot of formats on Android.

For ChromeOS, from a quick search it seems that you need to install a GNU/Linux virtual machine on the ChromeOS and then install AOO or LO.

LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE Faye) and 24.8 portable on Windows 11.
