I started installing OpenOffice on a new Windows 11 PC. The default folder for unpacking and saving the installation files is C:\Users\myname\OneDrive\Desktop\OpenOffice 4.1.15 (en-US) Installation Files
I feel like I'm over my head in trying to get Windows 11 to stop putting everything in OneDrive, which I thought I'd unlinked and deleted. Can I unpack and save the installation files to C:\Users\myname ? Would there be a better place for them?
Any guidance would be very much appreciated!

Re: Installation folder question
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Anyway, these files are to be removed after installation. But if there is any real time synchronizing, it is a waste of bandwidth. In such case, indeed, try a local folder.
