Most Recent Used (MRU) list in MS Office

Hello and good evening
a question about MS Office - I use MS Office in the office - Libreoffice @home:
and believe me: i am a true fan of LibreOffice - i love it!!! - this thread wants to clear some things that i encountered - due the comparison of the both programm-packges: MS-Office vs Libreoffice: - especially the MRU - Most Recent Used
I noticed that the MS-Office only lists the documents from a current module in the MRU (Most Recently Used) list - so Word then lists Word - Excel then Excel but - it doesn't work "Across types". If this observation is correct - do you make it too?
Things are different with LibreOffie:
The MRU list is different there:
So - I like the use of the “Recently Used” function to open lists, which focuses on documents that also fit the program well (as an example: Calc then lists spreadsheets, Writer lists text documents). But there is more - and further_
What's even better for me is that when I open Calc and have a Writer window open somewhere on my computer, the MRU list contains both (!!!) types of documents, with the emphasis on the documents (Calc - spreadsheets , Writer – Text).
Question: Is my observation regarding the MRU practice in MicroSoft Office correct - my experience with Word has always been that only documents of the same type are included in the list -
Word - lists Word
Excel - only brings Excel into the MRU list
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
