Does OpenOffice run on MacOS Sonoma?

Does Open Office word processor work with Mac Sonoma?
I don't have a Mac so don't know for sure but would think the best thing to do is just try it and see. That said, LibreOffice says that it will run on a Mac. LibreOffice system requirements. LibreOffice would be the better choice anyway as it is actively developed, OpenOffice nowadays not so.
