[Solved] Page count is twice what I've written

I am writing loose leaf digital instructions. I have written 25 pages. The page counter in the bottom left hand corner disagrees. It says I have 49 pages! When I look at the different views in the bottom right corner, single pages only show the 25 pages I have written. The double view shows the 25 pages I have written. The book view shows a blank left page for every page I have written. Is this the problem? How do I get a correct page count?

Welcome to the forum. Please note that a screenshot only shows what the problem is, but not what causes it. For that, we normally need the actual document.
In this document, you have used at least two page styles. Very likely, you modified those styles and made them all right pages. OpenOffice has a rule that there should always be left and right pages, so if you configure your pages as all right or all left, it will auto insert blank opposite pages. Please visit the Page tab of the page styles dialog box for all of your styles and check that page layout is set as you want it. If that doesn't solve the problem, please give more information - a document with a few pages showing the problem will help a lot.
