[Dropped] Remove horizontal line across page

I don't know what it is or how it got there. It's a horizontal line across the page at the bottom of my document. I can't type, or even select underneath the line. Pressing enter moves it down. It'll move to next page if you press enter enough. It doesn't have a nonprinting character. In the print preview, it doesn't appear. I want it gone because it's very annoying and distracting.

I've seen the post here about something similar:viewtopic.php?t=102852
I've tried all the reasonable fixes. I haven't removed all borders from my document or reformatted the whole doucument because it would be a huge hassel for me to redo it afterwards with correct formatting and borders. The document DOES have intentional black horizontal lines in it. They look different than the problem line. They are thicker. I've made an intentional line with the smallest thickness (0.05pt) and it's very noticeably darker than the problem line.

Any help is much appreciated!

It's hard to say what the line is without seeing the document. Can you make a copy of the document and delete almost all of the content yet preserve the mystery line? If you upload that version here, people could try to find the cause of the line.
