I imported a document from Office 365. I went in to adjust the line spacing from 1.5 to single in Open Office but there are still a few paragraphs in the document that are spaced the 1.5 and wont format to the single space. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great!

How did you change the line spacing? Is the paragraph style of all the paragraphs the same or are the offending paragraphs in a different style?

There all Calibri font at size 12. I went into format> styles and formatting > right clicked on default and edited it there. Plus I went into paragraph and tried to edit it there. The only way I was able to fix it was to individually highlight that paragraph and adjust the font size and enlarge the whole paragraph. Then I highlighted the paragraph again and reduced it back to 12 Calibri and it was fine.
I did highlight the whole document which is 75 pages, at the moment, and tried to make everything the same ( the font, size, spacing) but it doubled the spacing at the beginning of each new sentence on parts of the document instead of making everything universal. If this all sounds confusing it is.

You might want to give LibreOffice a try and see if it improves matters, it has better handling of Microsoft Word documents than OpenOffice has. Besides that there are other good reasons to switch to LibreOffice anyway, some of which are given in this thread:

The most likely culprit is what we call "direct formatting" using Formatting -> Paragraph or the formatting toolbars as opposed to formatting using styles. You can get rid of that by selecting the offending paragraph, then press Ctrl+M, provided that you didn't assign another command to that key combo. Note that Clear direct formatting (Ctrl+M) will remove all direct formatting, including font size, face, italics, and whatnot.

That sounds like trying to make everything the same by applying direct formatting... have you tried selecting the whole document and clicking on a paragraph style to make everything the same that way?
