Screen shots are next to useless for diagnosing formatting problems; they show what is happening but not why.

Please upload a sample .odt file that exhibits the problem; you may wish to copy the original and change confidential or personal information before upload.

I don't think you want your CV to span over 2 pages. There is a blank because the page is full and the end of your CV is sent to the second page.
You should do it in Draw instead (if you want it to be on one single page).

I found it to be one Table, and the height of the second table row was too great for the space left on the first page.

I opened the file in OpenOffice and LibreOffice.
LibreOffice seems to do a better job with the table (option "Allow row to break across pages and columns" ON/OFF).

@Happy Feet
Your CV contains too much (text) content. Try out: Page format A3, portrait. There you have a good chance to publish your CV on a single page. In the end export this A3 page into PDF which can be printed losslessly on a A4 page... ;)
For an online application you could combine your CV with other PDFs and merge them. Be advised that (at the moment) LibreOffice cannot do this with different page sizes. Use PDFsam (works on Linux and Windows) or other split and merge PDF files app.

You can use page-sized text frames, putting what doesn't display on the first onto the next. See attached document.
