[Solved] RTF with background graphic

Post by kaschifl »

I'm trying to create an RTF file in which you have a graphic ( PNG file ) as a background graphic.
If I create the file and save it in RTF format and open it again, the graphic is in the foreground and the writing is in the background and cannot be seen.
Does anyone have experience with this and can give me a tip on how to do it?

Greetings, Carsten

Testing - I can add a picture and also a textframe (with text) in front of it. Saving and reloading in OO in rtf format and its still a picture with the frame and text in front. There may be wide divergence with other software when opening that same document though.

Edit: but the frame background is opaque.

You could create a picture that includes the text written on it.

Use the international standard ODF file formats instead of the foreign and obsolete file formats like the MS RTF
