[Solved] Open Files from Taskbar

I just installed LO 7.5.4 in my Windows 11 to replace Excel & Word and trying to find my way around.
First I'm confused between LO and OpenOffice, since I just start is one better than the other?
Then I have 2 files I use often, one Excel and the other Word. Is there a way to have a shortcut of them in my Taskbar? (Not the StartMenu)
Thank you

I have 2 files I use often, one Excel and the other Word.
There are not any Excel-files nor Word-files. They are
spreadsheet files and
textual ducument files.
If you have .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx files, then it is better recreate them or convert them into the international standard ODF file formats.

It is possible, but this is not LO related problem: it is a Win 11 related problem.
Did you assigned the .xls, .xlsx, .doc, .docx file types to the LibreOffice during the
custom installation?
If not, then you must do it in the settings of the operating system, or you can make a custom reinstall of the LO.
