The block is at the top of my OOWrite screen (atop the writing area, below the tool bar with typefave and B,I,U settings; the words "New Theme" appears at the left side of the block. The block appeared while I was typing; I must have inadvertently pressed some wrong keys. I do not need it and find it distracting; how can I delete the whole block?
Can anyone possibly spot my problem with this admittedly poor description? Thanks.

The menu item Tools -> Gallery will close or open that pane.
