[Solved] Writer crashes as soon as I use the mouse

When I open an odt document to continue work, as soon as I use the wired mouse to scroll, it crashes and has to be recovered.

Very strange.
As a first step, you can try to reset your OpenOffice user profile. But I'm not very confident it would change anything.
Not elegant but who knows: you can try LibreOffice, it is much more actively developed and such incompatibility may have been experienced and fixed.

I downloaded the new version of Open Office and things seem to be okay now. Also, I think the document that was sent to me was incompatible with AOO.
