Locate year-old post on Sorting rows in a table

Some months ago I posted a question on how to sort the full rows in a OOW table, alphabetically by the content of the first column. (That is, I want the content of all the columns 2,3,.... to stay with the corresponding content in column 1.)
I am afraid I have forgotten the answer I received then. Can someone please find that earlier exchange for me; or retell me the command? Thanks. ..... wdc

Click on Quick links (hamburger stack) towards top left of Forum window, and select "Your Posts". When that opens there will be a "Search these posts" box displayed above the new list of your posts.

RoryOF: I'm sorry to say, that I have not been able to recover my earlier post, with its response … that told me how to alphabetize the elements of column 1 of a table AND simultaneously “carry along” the associated elements in columns 2 and 3. So, let me ask again.
Given a “raw” table 1 like this, how do I SORT it to produce table 2.
Table 1: Raw
z1 z2 z3
m1 m2 m3
q1 q2 q3
a1 a2 a3
I want Table 2, AFTER SORTING, to look like this:
Table 2: SORTED
a1 a2 a3
m1 m2 m3
q1 q2 q3
z1 z2 z3
What OOW sorting command accomplishes that? Table\Sort does not do it.
Thanks for your patience. ….. WDC
