[Solved] Can't update OpenOffice on MacOS 13 Ventura «Q50»

Post by swilcox33 »

Greetings,
I'm using MacBook Pro with Ventura 13.0.1 OS
Open Office version. 4.1.11
Since latest Mac update I'm unable to install the OpenOffice update. I've tried installing with and without my VPN turned on.
Open Office worked great prior to the Mac Update. Now, Shortly after a restart a green arrow/download bar icon appear at the top of my Mac screen. When I click on the icon it usually doesn't respond but occasionally it will send me to an update dialog for Open Office that always fails.
Same issue is occuring with Zoom.
Please help

Edit: Changed subject, was Issues with OpenOffice after recent Mac update

Hi and welcome to the foru!

See if that helps: query about Ventura.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the 🖉 button if your issue has been fixed.

Edit: Changed rel link to url link since the former will receive a security warning in some browsers -- MrProgrammer, forum moderator

Issue 128535 MacOS: Application crashes 30 seconds after opening if "check for automatic updates" is turned on
Q50: The automatic updates feature is not working. How do I fix it?

If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the Subject field. Select the green checkmark icon at the same time.
