Dear Open Office Forum, I am using Open Office Draw to make up some Thank you cards, and I found several examples of Fancy Script for the application. They are in Microsoft Word, but not Open Office Draw. How can I install them?

Are the fonts the same in Open Office Draw and Writer?

OpenOffice will use whatever fonts are already installed on the computer at the time an OpenOffice session is started. Installing fonts is done at Operating System level. (i,e., Windows in this case)

Dear RoryOF, Thanks for your response.

I found a font on Microsoft Word (Old English Text MT) that I want to install in my Open Office. Where can I find step by step instructions for how to obtain the font, and how to install it in Open Office. Thanks, JC

To download the font: http://legionfonts.com/fonts/old-english-text-mt (If you google the font name and add the term "download" you will get lots of other download options.

To install the font in Windows XP: https://djst.org/topic/how-to-install-f ... indows-xp/
