[Solved] Auto Recovery with no Tools>Option menu available

I am trying to recover a three documents which I stupidly didn't save. I tried to open a .txt document and it crashed the system.
The auto recovery kicked in when it rebooted and the documents were there but the .txt document kept crashing the system so I cancelled it.
The system restarted but without the recover prompt.
When I go into my "tools" menu there is no "options" menu to follow all the advice I have seen to recover the documents.
How do I access the recovery if there is no "options" in the tools menu?
Please help

Great got that, thanks, although it didn't help as I an't find the file path..
Again when I have looked for help it says there sounds be in file and "managed versions" and that is not there.
Any chance you know a step by step to recover these files?
I am wasting a lot of time now and its pretty disapointing :(

Yes I did it!
So I had to double click on the file path and open the folder to get to this point.
The I had to go out of this and back into open and select the folder from the recent places and it allowed me to open the documents.
For future reference for anyone!
