Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Account Creation Disabled
User account creation has been disabled.

Using the most recent version of OpenOffice [4.1.11] to open a document I made a couple days ago in the same version, OO goes white then shuts down, taking open OO documents with it. OO Document Recovery will resuscitate the other crashed document(s) but not the one that causes the crash.
This last time, OODR tried to bring back "Untitled 1", which isn't the filename, but it's the document that won't open as it died.
I use a three-column template. There are tables and .BMP images in my .ODTs. This one is the only one that crashes. Can't open/import the .ODT in any other OO application.

Are there any suggestions, without installing other programs?

Try with LibreOffice, there are portable versions if you don't want to install it first.
It seems that AOO has more and more issues, not sure if there are regressions in the code or something else like issues with the OS. As it has much less development than LibreOffice, it may accumulate small issues with time.
Note that .bmp is the worst picture format ever. See: [Tutorial] Some useful hints on using images.

Have only been at this a few months, and had no idea LibreOffice was a "spin-off" of OpenOffice. Seem to have fewer issues in LibreOffice's Calc, too. LibreOffice has more support for what I'm trying to do, which explains why I wasn't able to find answers in the forum.
Aside, this is akin to my using a certain PC emulator for old games, which I couldn't figure out. I was pointed to a spin-off of that project, too, which solved all the problems I was having.
Am in the process of making a donation to LibreOffice staff for all the work they've enabled me to do.
