Number of recently opened documents

I'm wondering if there is a way to increase the number of recently opened documents that appears when one first opens OO. This is the drop down list next to "Open" on the splash page. It defaults to 10 but I'm wondering if there is a way to increase it to 20 or 25. Maybe a variable that just needs to be changed in the code somewhere?
If someone knows how to do this I would be very grateful!

Download and install the
History Master extension.
This extension for OpenOffice.org and derivatives improves the lists of recent documents by adding two menu items.
Menu Tools - Add-ons -
History Master : List handling...
- Change the size of each list from 0 to 100.
- Eliminate the useless names.
- Change the order of the names
Menu File -
Recent of same type...
- Find recent documents of a same type in one of the lists.
The help pages are integrated into OpenOffice.org.

You can adjust the recent list count in the applications of the LibreOffice in the Settings.

Thank you robleyd and Zizi64 for your helpful replies. The extension that you refer to seems like it would do the trick!
However, when I click on the download button for the extension I arrive at this page:
https://www.sfr.fr/fermeture-des-pages-perso.html
Unfortunately, I cannot read French and I do not see anywhere on the page to download the extension.
Any suggestions on how to get around this problem?
Thanks again.

The recent download links are located in the Comments on bottom of the webpage of the extension. Do not click on the green buttons. Scroll down on the page to the Comments. You will find the links.
