[Solved] Easy fill in of template fields...

I am looking for guidance on template use.

What I am looking to do is generate standardized labels. So the labels are standard stock (think Avery or whatever).

What I'd like to do is put in a template for the sheet certain fields, and be able to have those fields filled in as easily as possible.

For instance, one label might be implemented as

<name> <category> <year>
<description>
<altname> <logo>

So I'd like a template sheet where the above is laid out in a grid three across and ten down, and I somehow specify the field values (name="Blah", category="MyCat", year="2021", etc) and the template fills in appropriately prior to being printed.

Is there a document describing what I'm trying to do here?

Thanks for any help.

Writer Guide; Chapter 11; Using Mail Merge: Form letters, mailing labels, and envelopes
Chapter 11 wrote:You now have a new … document containing a series of frames, one for each label of the selected type and filled with the data source address fields that you selected.

I'm looking for multiple labels filled in, preferably programmatically.
