How Do I Locate a Copy of AOO 4.1.6 to Install?

Having had serious repetitive CRASH problems with the new release 4.1.8 (making it totally unusable for me), and also some problems with later versions of 4.1.7, I would like to install the latest archival version of AOO 4.1.6 to use. Where can I find and download an installation file for AOO 4.1.6 for Windows-10?

Just use the dropdown at the right side of the download selection window, that window that reads 4.1.8

Go to the official download site, http://www.openoffice.org/download and change the entry in the drop down list that shows the version number.
It defaults to the current version, 4.1.8, but an earlier version can be selected.

Unexpected CRASH immediately following "CLEAN START" of a fresh copy of AOO 4.1.6

A BRIEF RECAP: After having MAJOR problems using the latest release of AOO 4.1.8, (repetitive loops and CRASHES, with NO work with it possible), and in consideration of occasional similar problems previously with 4.1.7, in my HP Win-10 laptop I UNINSTALLED 4.1.8, restarted the Win-10 OS and then downloaded & installed AOO 4.1.6 which I had used for many months earlier with NO problems. Upon starting AOO 4.1.6, from the Windows START icon, 4.1.6 immediately crashed with this ERROR message displayed: "Open Office 4.1.6 Fatal Error ! The application cannot be re-started [context = "user"] caught unexpected interruption."

What does this ERROR/FAULT message mean, and why did 4.1.6 crash? I never experienced this START-CRASH problem when I previously used 4.1.6 quite successfully. Ideas & Guidance from the Community will be greatly appreciated!

Start Windows in Safe Mode, and see if OpenOffice runs stable in that mode. If so, report back.

You can also try to reset your OpenOffice user profile.
There seems to be quite a lot of reports with 4.1.8, there may be an issue with the installation on Windows.
