[Solved] Creates .~lock file everytime i edit.

[SOLVED] hello. since i got a new computer OO creates a .~lock file (in the same folder as the document) everytime i edit a document. i dont know how to prevent this from happening. anybody know?

The file is there for a purpose and will be deleted automatically when OpenOffice is properly closed. Turn off "viewing of hidden and archive files" if you don't wish to see it.

Do not mess with this until _you_ know what and why _you_ are doing it.

oki, i turned it of now so i wont see them. thanks :)
