[Solved] Etre Check reports OpenOffice is not signed

Why does my MacBook pro after running Etre Check report that Open Office is not signed.
I have re-installed it at least three times just to make sure it was the latest MAC version.
Etre check has reported it as not being signed every time i run it.

by the way the program itself works fine

Possibly the Mac Gatekeeper app again; often Mac Gatekeeper complains that OO is not approved and one has to tell Gatekeeper to permit it.

Thank you for such a quick reply. So it sounds like a Mac problem. If I may ask you? Can this be fixed by myself or do I have to ask for support's help?

I have never heard of "Etre Check". I doubt if OpenOffice is "signed". If you like, you can validate the download as described in [Tutorial] Mac FAQ Q18/A18.

Anticipated further question: When will it be signed? Well, you can't get an answer here. We are all users just like you. However my best guess is "Never".
