[Solved] Insert break before table

In my document I had intially drafted up a simple table. I.e. the first thing in my document was a table.
I now want to add text before the table but I cannot create space before the table.

So far all I can see is "Table/Table Properties/Text Flow" then selecting "Break" & 'Page' & 'Before', but this does not insert a page break, and the table simply remains stuck to the top of the document.
Also putting the cursour in the first box of the table and pressing "Ctrl+Enter" does not creat a page break.

Place the cursor at the beginning of the top-left table cell and press enter (only enter): a new empty paragraph will be created before your table. Now, you can introduce more text or a page break.

My next question is how do I remove the page break/new page.

I've currently got:
Text
New Page
Table (at top of page 2)

I want:
Text
Table (on page 1)

Just insert the new paragraph before the table on page 2 and with the cursor placed on that empty paragraph press backspace (you can also use Delete from the end of page 1, it is the same)

If you cannot remember the process it is quite simple to

1 Add some text below the table
2 Copy the table
3 Paste it below the text
4 Delete the original table.

QED - or Quite Easily Done.
