I'd like to print to a paper size that's not listed in OO (6.5" x 10" card). I have added the size to my printer and even rebooted the computer, but the paper size is still not showing in any of the print options for OO.
Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

Welcome to the forums.
Create a custom paper size; go to Format | Page and select the Page tab. Then enter the paper size you want by editing the Width and Height values as needed. Click on the image to see a larger version.
If this is a paper size you may want to use frequently, consider creating a template that uses the custom paper size.

Re: Printing Custom Sized Paper
No, I think you misunderstand the issue. I have no problem creating the page size for formatting the file. This I already did prior to creating my drawing.robleyd wrote:Welcome to the forums.

The problem comes when it's time to physically print the file.
When choosing the paper size for the printing options, it defaults to Letter Size despite the custom size I specified while creating the file. Using this setting does not print the page correctly.
I have already created the custom page size for my printer in the Devices and Printers section of the computer's Control Panel. The option for selecting the custom size I've created in my printer settings is not displaying in OO as an option. Nor is there an option to create a custom paper size anywhere in the printing process.

Re: Printing Custom Sized Paper
I think that you need to change the page Style in AOO.
Attached is a 12.75 X 7.5 cm example (roughly 5 X 3 in)
The page Style (4th icon from the left in the Stylist) is where I set the page dimensions. This prints on a small index card for me.

Re: Printing Custom Sized Paper
Again, page size for the file I'm creating is not the problem.
The problem is with the paper size when physically printing the page.
The default is letter, which does not print my 6.5 x 10 in. file correctly. The other options available are not the correct size either. There doesn't seem to be a way to customize the paper size here. As I said, I have created an option for this paper size for the printer, but it is not showing as an option for OO.
Any help with a solution would be very appreciated!

Re: Printing Custom Sized Paper
I have checked on four printers, of four different makes; none of them allow printing from a custom sized paper. In your case, I suggest you set the closest size that your printer knows, for either paper or envelope; access such sizes from OO /File /Print : Properties button
ISO B5 is close to the same length, and just a little wider; you may need to center your paper in the feed tray when it is set to ISO B5, or it may be that the printer will accept the slightly narrow paper at that setting. You may need to adjust your layout left margin to get your design centred. I suggest you cut some 6.5" x 10" sheets of paper for setting up, so you do not waste your card.
This will require some experimentation - I normally print always on A4 paper or card, and trim down afterwards, but I have trimming facilities.

Re: Printing Custom Sized Paper
My printer settings allow for creating the custom size. How unfortunate that OO does not pick this up or allow for it.
What a shame that this is the only solution, but thank you for understanding the issue.
Perhaps the developers can take note and correct this on a future update.
