[Solved] Make new text document full size

I have been using the standard new text document for a long time and it has always come up in the past as full size in Windows 10. I do not change text sizes, ever. Yesterday, the new text size document screen comes up tiny and not full size.

I can open older and stored documents and they come up full size on the screen.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Apache Open Office thinking maybe a software bug came up. However, the problem is not solved.

The default text document screen is a small white rectangle.

I have also read through 8 pages of text problems in this forum.

I have also read tutorials.

How can I set the default new text document to full size.

Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

See if that helps: [Solved] Page view shows four pages.
Try to open the application, create a new Writer document, set the correct zoome level, then close the whole application. It should be OK when relaunched.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the *EDIT button if your issue has been fixed.

Use /View Zoom or pull the slider at bottom right of the OpenOffice window to change the on-screen scaling.

What I ended up doing was creating a document template with a name, zooming to full size, and then saving the same. That worked.
