But so be it. We have to admit that there is no activity except registration with commercial links in signature.

New member making two posts, answers to old threads. Suspicious, IMO, but I didn't see a reason to disapprove his posts.
Maybe we should just shut down the forum.

Since them three new members, one spammed and was banned, one did nothing so far, one added a link to his commercial website to his profile.
The admin still hasn't shown up.

One or two more spammers signed up. Still no sign from the site admin vietnamesel10n (absent since 26 Oct 2013, 16:38).

I've had some messages from him this week. There may be some change in the near future.

But he didn't bother to log in?

More spam, a surge of one or two per two days. No more serious posts.

+1. Just disapproved and banned another user right now.
There are talks on the mailing list of shutting down the moribund forums. So it should soon be back to read only.

The other forums aren't so very bad, are they?

I've had a look at them when the discussion occurred few days ago and found only the VI forum in bad shape. Others are running not so bad indeed. Not many posts for some but no real issue.

Some activity, one rudimentary post, several spam messages, the admin has been awol for more than six months.

I thought it had been shut down already...

Deleted two spam messages yesterday, from two new members, also banned them.

Btw, funny how the spell check thinks that "spam" is misspelled.

Disapproved that one, but didn't ban the user. Banned another user (commercial link), disapproved a few more, left one in the queue, can't make sense of the translation, but it doesn't seem to be a helpful post anyway.

Banned one user today, several more recently, for spam. 7 posts yet to be (dis)approved. Admin been AWOL for over a year. Many new members, most with spammy link. Total 47 banned. We have more banned users than topics there, and if it goes on like this, we will soon have more banned users than posts.

Have proposed to close it on the dev mailing list. Wait and see.
