Error 1714 when installing - cannot remove previous install

While installing 000 2.3.1 on win2k, i get an error 1714 "cannot remove previous install"

i removed form registery all references to ooo, soffice. i deleted the previous release directory.

i used the windows install cleanup utility, but openoffice does not even appear in the list.

i'm stuck and regret to heve deleted the previous install.

Anyone has a solution ?

Try perhaps to re-install the previous version before removing it, it can be downloaded here (Bill's tip): filehippo.com.
