Hi, I recently bought an iMac (2.4 GHz Intel Duo, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD) which runs Leopard (10.5.1). I have installed X11 from the MAc CD (which runs fine, tested with fink) and I am trying to install OO.org. I downloaded OOo 2.3.0 MacOSXIntel_install.dmg opened the image and dragged it to the Apps folder. When I open it I get this "Command timed out" message after the question about the Mac fonts and OO hangs. I also tried to start X11 prior to the installation and even though I dont get this error message OO still hangs. The mouse pointer becomes a little black and white wheel and after that nothing. I do get the OO menu but it has very few items and are all grey. I have several .ods and .odt files which now have the OO icon but they won't open.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
OO won't start

Yes, look at the other threads on the same subject in this forum, there are quite a few already, and the answer is nearly always the same.orion wrote: Any ideas?
