Cannot update or register

Hi,
this old fart has installed open orfice, but I cannot update or register.
Switched off the fire wall, but that didn't help either.
Anyone know what I can or should do?

Oh, sorry, it's in Kraut, but I'm sure you get the jist.

Similar when trying to update.
Installed latest version, but the problem isn't solved.

Please read the Survival Guide for the forum. What OS? What OOo version? 'Latest' is not an information, especially under Linux. Give the version number given in Help>About.

The registration page is accessible for me, it may be a network issue on your side, not OOo.
NB: if you've the latest version, then, why trying to upgrade? Just to test the feature? Or is it an automatic prompt?
