[Solved] Anchoring text

Post by loudog »

I am trying to create a series of document's that will be used over and over again in a business. the first problem I have run into is placing a line on the document for data input (this data will be variable). When I later bring up the Doc. and try to add data on the variable line the text at the end of the line moves.

I'm afraid I don't understand your message.

Can you explain clearly what it is you're trying to accomplish, what you've tried so far, and what's happening that's different from what you want.

And, if you haven't solved your question already and you want people to read this thread, click the "Edit" button on your first message and remove "Solved" from the subject. That's a big flag that says "Don't read this".

Have you read the Forum Survival Guide?

Oh. yes my question was not very clear i see that. Uhhhh sorry
The problem was solved by formating the document in a table and using the "protect option ;) " for the selected cell that contained the text i needed to be un editable by others or at least not changed by accident. 8-)
