I have been using OpenOffice.org Writer for several years, and I have enjoyed it immensely. I use it quite frequently for creating documents with Hebrew language, but in the most recent release (maybe the last two updates) I have experienced a problem that didn't exist in the former versions.
When I type up something in Hebrew with diacritics and export to PDF, there are serious spacing issues with diacritic placement. I have asked others about this on a mailing list that I'm involved with, but I haven't got an answer yet. I'm hoping that there's some kind of quick fix, that others have happened across this problem. If you would like an example of the problem, I can create a PDF with an image of how a text should look and then generate text under it of how it does look. I just need some help, since this is a particularly problematic issue for me.
Thanks,

Re: PDF Problems in Writer
How does it look if you use a PDF printer driver instead?
I find that PDF 995 is good. CutePDF and PrimoPDF are often recommended too.
